Coming Home For Christmas

At this point we can consider Danica McKellar (The Wonder Years) a local. This will be the fourth BC-filmed Hallmark movie in 2016-17 alone that Danica has starred in; joining Wedding Bells, My Christmas Dream and Campfire Kiss. She also makes appearances on Project Mc2 which films primarily in Maple Ridge.

This time around, she’s joined by Neal Bledsoe (The Mysteries of Laura) in Coming Home For Christmas. Danica’s character, Allie Richfield, finds herself amidst the feuding Marley family who have hired her as a house manager for the Virginian countryside estate they’re trying to sell. Determined to bring them together again in time for Christmas, Allie plans one final gala for the Marley family.

Things get more complicated along the way as Allie begins to fall in love with Robert Marley, while Kip Marley tries to pursue her. Despite the feuding and the awkward love triangle, Allie has to find a way to make the event a success while teaching the family to appreciate the true meaning of Christmas again.

According to the movie’s IMDb page, Lindsay Maxwell (Good Luck Chuck) and Rebecca Staab (Somewhere Between) have also been added to the cast.

Coming Home For Christmas will continue filming in Vancouver and British Columbia until August 28th and will premiere on Hallmark Channel during this year’s Countdown to Christmas series. Update: Coming Home For Christmas premieres on November 18th at 8pm on the Hallmark Channel in the US.
