As a result, he unwilling goes through a gender-reassignment procedure performed by a rogue surgeon (Weaver). Now, she’s out for revenge and will learn a great deal about herself along the way. The screenplay was written by Walter Hill (who is also directing the film) from a story originally by Denis Hamill. Phil (Feature)formerly Phil: A Tale of Flossing and Plumbing
Oscar-nominated actor Greg Kinnear (As Good As It Gets) will make his directing debut in Vancouver. In addition to directing, Kinnear will also star in the film alongside Emily Mortimer (Newsroom). The story follows Phil, a dentist, who pretends to be a plumber so he can get inside the home of one of his patients who committed suicide in his dental chair. His intent was to learn more about what may have led the deceased to a premature death. Somewhere along the way Phil falls for the former patient’s widow (Mortimer).
